Corsair Releases Its First SFX Power Supplies For Small System Builds

Corsair recently announced its first SFX power supplies for small-form-factor PCs. The company says its new SF600 and SF450 PSUs “deliver ATX performance in an SFX form factor” and feature 80 Plus Gold efficiency certifications. The two new power supplies have 100% Japanese capacitors rated to 105 degrees C. Both PSUs have a full-sized 92mm thermally controlled cooling fan that makes use of Corsair’s Zero RPM Fan Mode, so the fan won’t turn on unless the power supply is under load. The power supplies are fully modular, so enthusiasts building SFF systems won’t have to put up with excessive or unnecessary cabling. The PSUs are built to last and include over-voltage and over-power protection, over-temperature protection, under-voltage protection, and short-circuit protection, and they come with a seven-year warranty. MSRP for the SF600 is $119.99, and for the SF450, it’s $89.99.
